Kate Starbird Wants to Limit Free Speech on Twitter

The "news magazine" 60 Minutes featured anti-free speech fanatic Kate Starbird on Sunday night to talk about how important it is to regulate speech and ideas in modern America.

Starbird made the case on "60 Minutes" that America's free speech laws must be strictly enforced in order to prevent more than one point of view from reaching the general public. Here is a highlight of exactly what she said:

Lesley Stahl: Kate Starbird said the social media platforms often ignore the researcher’s suggestions.

Kate Starbird: The statistics I’ve seen are just for the Twitter platform. But my understanding is that they responded to about 30% of the things that we sent them. And, I think on a majority of those they put labels.

Lesley Stahl: But just a third?

Kate Starbird: Just a third, yeah.

It is important to note that this is not fist attempt at shutting down free speech.vShe has fat experience with this. She has spent years collaborating with government organizations to restrict free expression in the United States.
