Real Estate Magnate's Spouse Gathers Substantial Funds to Assist Trump in Settling Large NYC Civil Judgment

Elena Cardone, married to Grant Cardone of Cardone Capital, initiated a GoFundMe to aid President Donald Trump, who confronts a judgment close to $500 million issued by New York Judge Arthur Engoron.

This hefty fine, imposed in February, has impacted New York's business climate, prompting warnings from entrepreneurs and investors about leaving due to the adversarial climate stemming from Trump's legal woes. Among those exiting New York is Cardone Capital.

Grant Cardone told Fox Business about reconsidering his investment plans in New York, Chicago, and California due to the unfavorable ruling, halting his long-awaited investment plans.

Trump faces a deadline to secure a bond for appealing the judgment. Failure to do so could lead to New York State Attorney General Letitia James seizing some of his New York real estate, potentially including Trump Tower.

The GoFundMe campaign by Elena Cardone, titled “Stand with Trump; Fund the $355M Unjust Judgment,” aims to combat the financial burden of the judgment, which with interest exceeds $450 million, mirroring the bond amount needed, as reported by RSBN.

In the description of her fundraising campaign, Elena Cardone expressed that the legal challenges Trump is facing represent an assault not only on him but on the principles of fairness and due process which are fundamental rights of all Americans. She views these legal proceedings as a challenge to the principles of justice, disproportionately targeting Trump to mute his advocacy for American power, wealth, and safety.

Cardone emphasized that supporting Trump is akin to defending the rights of business owners and entrepreneurs who are against a system that increasingly punishes dissent and restricts freedoms.

She expressed concern over the chilling effect on entrepreneurs that such a significant financial penalty could have, clarifying that her fundraising effort is more than just about collecting funds. It’s a statement that someone advocating for American ideals is not alone in their fight.

Elena Cardone also mentioned that she and her husband decided to cancel all upcoming events in New York and cease their real estate activities there due to the current hostile business climate.

As of the last update, the GoFundMe campaign initiated by Cardone had amassed close to $2 million in support of President Trump.
